Design a mixed border

A mixed border can include shrubs, perennials, bulbs & annuals.  

Includes a pre-workshop call & questionnaire.  A light soup will be served for lunch. 

In this workshop you will learn how to:

• Analyse your soil, sunlight and possible micro-climates
• Determine the appropriate size and form. Find inspiration for different forms and design ideas.
• Choose the best plants taking into consideration your environment and other factors such as watering , skill levels, and time available for maintenance.
• Determine plant spacing and how to arrange the plants.
• Find inspiration for different styles and colour schemes as well as how to plant for year round interest.
• Bring photos of your garden and soil samples for assistance in determining what you need.
• Create a plan for achieving your border with steps and timelines.

This is a working session and all skill levels are welcome !
