Assistance in managing your project

Once you have decided what you would like to create, it is time to do the work and implement your project.

This generally includes ordering materials and plants as well as coordinating with several contractors and suppliers.

I can be onsite or assist in coordinating from a distance to help ensure that the projects goes according to plan and the quality desired.

My services are flexible and adapted according to your needs for all sizes of projects.

Creating a detailed project plan to include estimated budget, materials, labor, and timelines.
Assistance in selecting materials and contractors; and comparing proposals.
Coordinating the work being carried out on site and; acting as the point of contact for all parties involved.

A few projects that I have managed

Creation of a new mixed border

This mixed border was created along the property line to hide the fence and to create a feeling of privacy for the pool area.

The project entailed:

Discussing the requirements with the client and together deciding on the size and shape of the border.
Proposing plants and managing the order and delivery.
Overseeing the placement and planting of shrubs, bulbs, and perennials.
Coaching the client on the soil preparation and working with another gardener to create the border.
Coordinating the delivery of wood chip

Project: redesign of the pool area, new tiles and deck

The project began by discussing ideas and requirements with the client. We included a couple of specialist in our conversations. One of whom was the contractor who would construct the wood deck and pergolas. We discussed design ideas as well as any technical requirements and constraints. We also reviewed and chose materials. The area was refitted with natural stone pavers.

The client was not on site, so I was the point of contact for the work. I was responsible for overseeing the interdependencies and coordinating between the contractors. And, ensuring that the project would be delivered in time for the family to enjoy the pool for their summer holiday.

The project entailed:

Design for the new area
Removal and disposal of the old tiles
Laying natural stone pavers over a surface of an area of 200 sm
Working with the carpenter on the design of the wooden deck, pergola and planters
Choosing the plants and overseeing and carry out the work of ordering and planting
